Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 17 (ANI): Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav on Saturday welcomed the Allahabad High Court decision that annulled the merit list for the recruitment of 69,000 primary teachers in Uttar Pradesh.
The court has directed the state government to prepare a new merit list within three months, ensuring compliance with the Basic Education Rules and Reservation Guidelines.
“It is good but we should not forget the torture the ruling party has done…People have made up their minds to remove the BJP…We welcome the High Court’s decision,” said Dimple Yadav.
“It is good because of the interference of the High Court these recruitments will take place again. We have full faith that people will get their rights…This is everybody’s win and the state’s as well. There is hope now…,” she added.
Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav responding over the issue said, “I hope that there will be no injustice done to the aspirants who are demanding reservation. They will get justice. The fight for reservation was long. The list of discrimination made by the government, we hope that those children will get justice. Those aspirants have struggled for a very long time.”
Probably no one has done such a big movement, such a long movement as those aspirants have done. They had to face a lot of trouble. We hope that the government will give them justice, will not do injustice to them and the government will also take care of this in future…,” he added.
The issue dates back to December 2018, when an advertisement was released for the recruitment of 69,000 primary teachers in UP and the court’s decision is expected to have a significant impact on the ongoing assistant teacher recruitment process. (ANI)
