In her post, she called the assumptions “very silly” and shared that music has always been her “lifeline.” Grande also added that even though her music journey may not look the same as before, she feels “grateful,” “excited,” and “inspired” about what’s ahead.
“Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing & music … !!! It is and has always been my lifeline. There will need to be room made for all of it,” read Grande’s Instagram post.

The message comes just a day after Grande was confirmed to star in the animated film Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Wicked director Jon M. Chu. The movie, which also stars Josh Gad, is set to release in 2028 and will include original songs by award-winning composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
